Last summer's Cantina collection was so popular we decided to put a fresh spin on the artwork and pair it with bright new colors. The Cantina Remix is such a "happy" collection. Much like one of our Lite kits, it makes eight 12x12 pages. I grabbed a collection on Friday, completed the ALSB in about 90 minutes on Saturday, and added photos and journaling. It was really easy to find photos that went perfectly with these pages. Here's a peek at my finished pages:
LAYOUT 1 & 2
All of the ALSB pages are already embellished really well, so all I added to this spread was die cut letters for the page title and a bit of journaling.
LAYOUT 3 & 4
I added the "Celebrate" die cut on the left page and a stamped sentiment (Cantina Collection UM, Lagoon ink) on a white scrap on the right.
LAYOUT 5 & 6
I added the word "Birthdays." (Cantina Greeting UM, Lagoon ink) to the "Happy Days" Cutapart on Layout 5. I rotated the right page 90 degrees to accommodate vertical photos. The four boxes across the top became a great place to add a stamped sentiment (Cantina B&B UM, Tangerine ink) and the year (County Fair Number Stencil, Lagoon ink). A smaller photo was added to the lower right corner of the page.
LAYOUT 7 & 8
These two pages were pretty perfect "as is" so I just added photos and journaling. Since I lacked a vertical photo for the right side, I trimmed two smaller horizontal photos to fit the photo mat.
