Build an adorable trio of birdhouses for the front of a card.
I love birdhouses and have quite an extensive collection decorating my house and yard!
Birdhouses Card
Add White Pigment Ink to the birdhouse image. Wipe away the ink from the large circle portion with a cloth.
Stamp onto an Aviary Red panel.
Clean the stamp and add color to the large circle with a black marker.
Align the birdhouse over the white image and stamp. Heat set to dry.
Add color to the white image with pencils.
Emboss the panel with a wood grain texture folder. Tip: Spritz the back of the panel with water to prevent cracking.
Fussy cut the birdhouse with scissors or a craft knife. Apply more color with the black pencil to remove some of the embossed texture from the center of the black circle.
Add white highlights with a gel pen.
Embellish a card with a trio of birdhouses made in the same manner. Adhere them to a 4x5.25" panel printed from the Aviary Hybrid Kit. Layer onto a 4.25x5.5" Red folded card base.
Let's take a look at the finished card.
"Woodn't" you like to make a birdhouse card, too?
