I love the versatility of the banner stamp. The opening accommodates your choice of six different greetings. (See four options below.) Screenshot 2015-10-01 20.29.08 Follow these steps to make your custom card:
  1. Stamp the banner image onto White plain with India Black ink.

For a greeting that pops, stamp a second banner, trim out the center section, and layer onto the first banner with foam adhesive. IMG_2147 copy THE COLLECTION UM SHEET IMG_2138 copy I think this sheet is my favorite. I used my classic masking technique to create a collaged background on an art panel and topped it off with the perfect sentiment and a little twine bow. IMG_2139 copy Check out the Twist Ties and Colorful Tags included in the Greetings to Go kit. You can stock up on extras in the store! IMG_2137a copy Stamp the images onto the colorful papers with our White Pigment ink and matte with a contrasting colors. Next, cut with a postage edge scissors, if you happen to have one from the late 90's! IMG_2140 copy THE BORDERS & BACKGROUNDS UM SHEET IMG_2149 copy My other quick go-to technique is to stamp the images with India Black ink and shade with watercolor pencils and a water brush. Finish it off with a bit of watercolor splatter. IMG_2152 copy IMG_2150 copy Stamped 1" squares make an interesting backdrop for this sweet greeting. IMG_2151 copy THE ART NOUVEAU UM STAMPS I can totally identify with the tightrope walking gal on this sheet! And with that quote? And the bowling pins? Perfect. IMG_2154 copy Despite using the same images on each card, I was able to achieve completely different results by varying the techniques. IMG_2156 copy
