Max's girlfriend recently attended her senior prom, so I wanted to make her a special mini book to store the photos. Her dress was a beautiful shade of light blue that coordinated perfectly with the Beautiful Noise collection.
After Tricia's June VOLUME workshop on Friday, I was eager to make a U-Hinge Album of my own. Now I had an excellent excuse to make one!
Beautiful Noise Mini Book
Making a U-Hinge book is easy with Tricia's step by step guidance.
1. Visit our online store to purchase the instructions download with workshop video.
2. Gather a CS Page Kit of your choice - I chose the Beautiful Noise Page Kit - and one 12x12 Mat Board. (A full list of tools and supplies is also available on the event landing page.)
3. Substitute Beautiful Noise papers for the Peony papers in the instructions; trim and sort the papers as directed.
4. Follow the written and video instructions to assemble the book.
5. Decorate as desired.

Inside, the book features interactive pages.
The 7x5" pages are perfect for 6x4" landscape photos. Open the flaps on the right to reveal space for additional pictures.
Decorate the flaps with papers, cutaparts and other embellishments from the kit. I trimmed two 12x12 Card Kit prints to add more blue to the book as an accent for the prom dress.
The cover features a border of Beautiful Noise flower petal washi tape, a wooden tag from my stash and a woodcut word (Coffeehouse 12.19).
And there you have it! Another amazing project Tricia designed to utilize Club Scrap Page Kits. Making these albums is quite rewarding, and they make wonderful gifts. I can see myself making a few more U-hinge Books in the future.
