The You've Got Mail Cards feature four each of three unique styles. I'm so excited about our 5x7" dimensional standing box fold card structure and the fun envelope-style greeting. Get the card kit and learn with us!
To make learning easy, our card kits include an instruction download as well as a 30-minute video tutorial. If you're a member, check your email for an important line-up of member-exclusive links at the beginning of each month. It looks like this:
And now, for a few highlights from this month's card set . . .
You've Got Mail Cards
SET A - Envelope Style Cards
After cleverly folding the Sky card base, create a small slot in which to tuck the lower right corner of the front card panel.
Untuck the panel to open the pointed flaps to view the sentiment inside. All four cards in this set have the same, basic construction.
Tie the card panel with the adorable tricolored twine. Your kit includes a full two yards of this fun fiber!
SET B - Standing Box Fold Cards
The card has a lot of dimension, but cleverly folds perfectly flat for mailing.
The printed cutaparts include two "mailbox flags". Attach the flag to the mailbox with a brad from your stash prior to adhering the cutapart to the black panel.
Cut a slit into the mailbox with a craft knife and cutting mat. Staple canvas ribbon to the left side of the cutapart and slide into the opening.
Add the adorable postage stickers to the top edge of the black panel.
SET C - Single Fold A6 Cards
I love using my texture embossing folders for cards with a large reveal of the main panel. If desired, rub the surface of an Ash ink pad directly onto the raised surfaces of an embossed Sky panel. Complete the card with trimmed cutaparts and tricolored twine.
The sympathy card below is softer and more simple with the addition of un-inked embossing texture and the beautiful canvas ribbon.
The center frame of the cutapart sentiment is removed with a craft knife and ruler and adhered to the card with foam adhesive circles.
Have fun filling mailboxes with your beautiful handmade greetings lovingly made with the You've Got Mail Card Kit!
