Create seven super-simple cards when you pair Vines Stamps with the rich jewel-toned papers of the August collection. (Just for fun, Tricia created her own set of stamped cards, too!)
Grab your supplies and let's get started!
Vines Stamps
(The finished size of each card below is 4.25x5.5", unless otherwise noted.)
Card 1
Stamp the large ivy frame image onto an Ivory panel with Leaf Ink.
Place the sentiment face down onto the panel, and carefully align it within the frame. Close the lid of the stamping platform to pick up the stamp.
Apply Mahogany Ink to the sentiment and close the lid to transfer the ink. Repeat if needed.
Add Liquid Pearl accents to the panel and allow to dry.
Adhere the panel to a Dk. Green card base.
Card 2
Place a Wine panel into a stamping platform. Stamp the grape vine image on one side of the panel with Mahogany Ink. Rotate the panel 180 degrees, ink and stamp a second image.
Add the sentiment to an Ivory strip with Sandstone Ink. Mat with Lt. Green. Trim a "V" into each strip to create a swallowtail detail on the ends.
Card 3
Stamp the grape vine image repeatedly onto an Ivory panel with Sandstone Ink.
Add the sentiment with Red Ink centered between the rows of vines.
Add three Liquid Pearl dots next to the sentiment to complete the card.
Card 4
Stamp the large ivy frame vertically onto an Ivory panel with Leaf Ink.
Center a sentiment within the frame, and add to the panel with Mahogany Ink.
Add green watercolor pencil to the leaves using the artwork as a guide.
Activate the color with a water brush to fill in the leaves.
Set the panel aside to dry.
Stamp a companion sentiment onto an Ivory panel with Mahogany Ink. Accent with the leaf image and color with green pencil. Adhere the sentiment panel to the inside of the card with a Lt. Green anchoring strip.
Card 5
Stamp the grape vine image onto a 4x5-1/4" Ivory panel at an angle using Red Ink.
Continue to add the images until the entire panel is covered.
Distress the edges of the panel with Red Ink.
Adhere the stamped panel to a Rose card base. Adhere a 1x5-1/4" Rose strip across the Ivory Panel.
Stamp the sentiment on a small Ivory panel with Leaf Ink and nest onto a Dk. Green mat. Wrap ribbon around one corner of the sentiment and secure to the back with clear tape. Add Liquid Pearls dots to complete the card.
Card 6
Place a Lt. Green panel in a stamping platform. Position the grape vine image on the panel and close the lid to pick up the stamp. Ink with Leaf, and transfer the first image to the panel.
Rotate the panel in the platform 180 degrees.
Apply ink to the stamp and close the lid to add the second image.
Clean the stamp and reposition it over the artwork to create a frame shape. Close the lid, ink the image with Leaf, and stamp the image for a third time. Rotate the panel 180 degrees and repeat the steps to add a fourth image.
Center the sentiment on the Lt. Green panel and stamp in with Red Ink.
Remove the panel from the platform and add a bit of red watercolor pencil to the grapes.
Activate the color with a water brush.
Mat with Dk. Green and adhere to a Rose card base.
Card 7
Add the large vine image to a Green panel with Leaf Ink.
Rotate the Lt. Green panel 180 degrees and stamp the image again.
Distress the edges of the stamped panel with Leaf Ink.
Add the sentiment at the top of an Ivory panel with Mahogany Ink.
Stamp the leaf and tendril images around the perimeter of the Ivory panel with Leaf Ink.
Adhere a small ribbon bow under the stamped sentiment. Nest onto a Lt. Green mat, center and adhere to the Dk. Green background panel.
