Yellowstone Stamps
(The finished size of each card below is 4.25x5.5", unless otherwise noted.)
Card 1
Stamp the shield images onto two 2-3/4x4" Ivory panels with Mahogany Ink - one in a horizontal orientation and one vertical. (Set the horizontally stamped image aside for use in Card 2.)
Place the forest stamp face down inside the bottom of the shield.
Pick up the stamp with the lid of the stamping platform and apply Ocean Ink. Close the lid to transfer the image to the shield.
Repeat the process with the sentiment using Sandstone Ink. Repeat as needed to achieve a clear impression.
Stamp the double arrows beneath the shield with Earth Ink.
Add texture to a 3-1/2x4-3/4" Rust panel with a wavy lined embossing folder.
Wrap a length of grosgrain ribbon around the Ivory panel beneath the stamped images. Secure to the back side with clear tape. Add a smaller piece of ribbon around the first and tie in a simple knot. Center and adhere to the embossed panel using a 2x8" Acrylic Ruler to ensure proper alignment.
Nest these panels onto a 3-3/4x5 Ivory and 4x5-1/4" Green and adhere to a Teal folded card base.
Card 2
Place the reserved stamped horizontal Ivory panel into a stamping platform. Add the mountain range with Sandstone Ink and the sentiment with Ocean.
Stamp the double arrows image in the center of the shield with Earth Ink. Interlock two loops of ribbon next to the images and secure to the back side with clear tape. Emboss a 3-12x4" Teal panel with the wavy lines folder.
Nest with Ivory and Brown panels and a Green folded card base to complete the card.
Card 3
Squeeze a bit of Mahogany, Ocean, Earth and Sandstone Re-inker along the edge of a folded baby wipe.
Drag the ink colors across an Ivory panel trimmed to 3-3/4x5".
Repeat this process until the desired effect is achieved. Be careful to realign the baby wipe over the matching colors when re-inking the paper.
Stamp the arrowhead image onto a Green panel with Sandstone Ink.
Remove the image with scissors.
Wrap the top of the arrowhead several times with brown jute; secure with a simple knot.
Create a collage cluster with an embroidered star, die cut circle and and longhorn charm. Add a trimmed foam adhesive circle to the back of the star to add dimension. Adhere the charm to the arrowhead with Bookbinding Glue dispensed from a Needle-tipped Applicator.
Adhere the circle collage to the ink-striped panel to complete the card.
Card 4
Add more re-inker to the baby wipe and swipe in a wavy pattern onto an Ivory panel. Trim the panel to 3-3/4x5".
Stamp the sign image onto a Rust panel with Mahogany Ink.
Remove the image with scissors.
Nest and Ivory strip onto Green; adhere to the inked panel. Adhere the sentiment to the left side; accent with an embroidered star.
Card 5
Die cut an Ivory panel into a circle; reserve the negative for use on Card 7. Stamp the arrows repeatedly onto circle with Ocean Ink.
Add the birthday sentiment to a Green panel with Earth Ink.
Remove the image with scissors.
Die cut a larger Brown circle as a mat for the Ivory. Nest a 1x5-1/4 Brown strip onto a 1-1/4x5-1/4" Rust strip. Wrap a length of Green satin ribbon around them; secure to the back side with clear tape. Arrange all of these elements onto a 4x5-1/4" Teal panel and add to a Teal folded card base.
Card 6
Trim 1x3-1/2" strips of Rust, Brown, Green and Teal. Adhere the strips to a 3-3/4x4-1/2" Ivory panel using an acrylic ruler to ensure proper spacing and alignment.
Wrap a piece of red grosgrain ribbon around the Ivory panel and secure to the back sidewith clear tape.
Stamp the buffalo badge onto an Ivory panel with Earth Ink. Remove the image with scissors or a circle die.
Rough up the edges with a paper distressing tool.
Stamp the shield onto a Rust scrap with Mahogany Ink; fussy cut with scissors.
Adhere the circle and shield over the ribbon. Embellish with a small piece of knotted ribbon and an embroidered star to complete the card.
Card 7
Position the 3-3/4x5" die cut Ivory panel (reserved from Card 5) over a Green panel. Trace the circle opening lightly with a pencil.
Stamp the buffalo inside the circle as shown using Earth Ink.
Tear a strip of Rust paper.
Add Bookbinding Glue to the back of the strip and adhere beneath the buffalo image; trim any excess paper that extends beyond the edges of the Green panel.
Stamp the mountain image multiple times in the background with Sandstone Ink.
Add trees to the left of the buffalo with Ocean Ink.
Adhere the Green panel behind the Ivory; secure with clear tape.
Stamp the sentiment onto an Ivory strip with Mahogany Ink; nest with Brown.
Wrap with Rust grosgrain ribbon tied in a simple knot and adhere to a Rust folded card base.
