It's easy to transform your paper stash into finished cards—if you have the right tools! A Club Scrap card formula is so much more than a sketch, each provides detailed trimming and assembly instructions to create a quick batch of greeting cards. As inspiration, I'm offering a special freebie: the Triple Block Card Formula.

If you haven't tried our unique crafting method, now is the time! I recently shared the process featuring this brand-new Card Formula LIVE on YouTube. If you missed it, you can watch the replay below.

Getting Started

Gather coordinating papers as outlined on the instructions download—in this case, six coordinating 12x12 papers: a mix of prints and plains. Follow the paper trimming instructions and sort the pieces. Deal out the trimmed elements to dry fit each card structure. Finally, add stamped sentiments to the appropriate panels and assemble each card with the help of a grid ruler and ATG adhesive.

Boughs of Joy

To replicate the cards shown below, gather the following papers from the Boughs of Joy collection:

Add stamped sentiments to one of the blank panels with White Pigment ink.

Stamp the pinecone image on an Ivory scrap with Earth ink; fussy cut. Create a berry sprig accent with coordinating scrap paper and a punch or die. Use to embellish each card front, along with bits of ribbon, gold holiday-themed stickers or other bits and bobs from your stash.

Consider adding texture to the plain panels with decorative embossing folders, too!

Let's take a closer look at one of the finished cards in more detail:

Don't forget to decorate the inside of the card as well! Add extra panels and stamped sentiments as desired.

Now that you've mastered the basics, recycle the formula with additional papers, stamps and embellishments from your stash.
