The September collection features classic floral motifs paired with soothing shades of blue and taupe. The completed Toile layouts provide a serene backdrop for memories from almost any occasion!
Toile Page Kit
Each Club Scrap Page Kit creates eight coordinating pages, but I rarely use all of them for a single occasion or event.
However, in this case, the shades of blue and tan proved to be perfect paired with dozens of photos taken at a recent family reunion. We gathered with 50+ family members from my father's side. The group included Dad, his two brothers and all of their offspring.

Layout 1 & 2
Just as jeans go with everything, so do the blues in this collection. After adding reunion photos to the pages, I realized everyone's outfits coordinated beautifully—almost like it was planned, even though there wasn't a suggested dress code. I guess members of the Chaffey clan like to wear shades of blue!
I didn't stray much from the design of the original layout—just an extra photo on the border strip on the right page. The pic features my son and his cousins (all three of them 6' 8" or taller) with Aunt Cathy, who's barely 5 feet tall.
Layout 3 & 4
On the left side, rotate one photo mat to a horizontal orientation.
On the right, crop an extra photo to fit the open space to the left of the cutaparts. (Look at that wing span!) A small photo of my grandson fits on the smallest mat, with the butterfly cutapart mounted on the other, attached with foam adhesive.
Crop two horizontal photos to fit across the space created by the four rectangular mats at the bottom of the page.
Layout 5 & 6
I was hesitant to cover the largest blossom on the Lt. Blue Print border strip the left, so I relocated the two small tan panels to the right page.
Add an un-matted photo in place of the relocated mats, and use a craft knife and cutting mat to trim around the large flower to bring it into the foreground. The photo is of a framed tribute to my sister, who passed a couple years ago.
Layout 7 & 8
Finally, the last two pages feature more photos from the reunion—specifically, photos of my two uncles' families.
A slight trimming error is quickly resolved by adding two Gray mats (trimmed from the Pack of Panels). The double-mats look like they were "meant to be"!
You won't believe how versatile this kit is. The Toile pages go with EVERYTHING! Once the trimming and sorting was completed, it took me a little over an hour to assemble the pages and select, crop and adhere the photos to my pages.
