You're going to love the new Lagoon Remix! We picked the best of the best from the original kit released last year, and made it even better!
We listed the original "Lagoon Lite" collection as one of the options for our efficient scrapbooking workshops offered this week at the Great Lakes Mega Meet in Novi, MI. The class sold out within twenty minutes! We received numerous phone calls from attendees looking to pick up the collection, but it was no longer available. So, we set to work on designing a remix and also hit it out of the park by procuring an extra-fabulous assortment of goodies and ribbons!
Lagoon Remix Layouts
Layouts 1 & 2
Use a craft knife and cutting mat or detail scissors to cut along the design of the 12x12 Fish Scale print to create a fabulous effect. Photos can be placed on the printed area in addition to the planned photo mats. Tuck elements behind the decorative edge of the print.
Adhere the stunning mermaid tail charm to the layout with our CS® Bookbinding Glue.
Layouts 3 & 4
Arrange the darling little starfish gems onto the series of three starfish cutaparts. Scoot the gems off of the cutaparts if you prefer to use the spot for cropped photos.
The beautiful silver seahorse charm is over 2" tall and makes a stunning addition to the right side of the layout. Wrap the cutapart strip with the gorgeous teal frayed-edge chiffon ribbon.
Layouts 5 & 6
Nestle the second mermaid tail charm onto the lower right corner of the cutapart anchored with the metallic gold ribbon.
This section of photo mats consists of three 3.75x6" Teal panels trimmed horizontally at 4" or 3". Adhere to the layout with the help of a CS® Grid Ruler to achieve equal spacing between each mat.
Layout 7 & 8
I adore this hammered silver charm! I plan to use an additional charm to create a pendant to wear on my next trip to the beach. (Or perhaps on a cruise, for example.)
Glue a trifecta of fish scale gems to a cutapart wrapped with the teal ribbon. What a sweet finishing touch!
