I recently learned how to make a 6x8" Stitched Book at one of Tricia's virtual workshops. Using her instructions, you can make a hand-stitched book using any Club Scrap Page Kit. Her Regatta version turned out so well, I was inspired to make one for myself using the Sprouts page kit.

Constructing the book is easy and rewarding when you follow Tricia's project formula. She'll walk you through the process, step by step. Visit her blog post for access the instructions download and a list of tools and supplies needed to complete the book.

Once the book structure is complete, it's time for the fun part! The embellishments and cutaparts included in the Sprouts kit offered plenty of decorating potential. Just look at that beautiful stitched spine!

Distribute pre-cut photo mats throughout the book. You'll create even more 4x6" mats during the trimming process.

There's TONS of room for photos.

The spacers at the spine are fun to decorate, too. Add cutapart artwork to a shipping tag and tie with a bit of ribbon. Use bookbinding glue in a needle-tipped applicator to adhere the sweet rabbit charm.

Slip a shipping tag inside a seed envelope decorated with cutaparts.

The 6x8" book size is so versatile and is jam-packed with creative potential. You even have the option to trim two horizontal 4x6" photos to fit across a single page, if desired.

I hope you are as inspired by this project as I am. I think I see a few more 6x8" stitched books in my future!

Happy crafting!
