Rustique Stacked Rectangles Card Formula
Getting Started
Begin with the purchase and download of the printable card formula. The project requires five sheets of 12x12 paper; one print and four plains. Follow the trimming instructions and Tricia's video tutorial for assembly tips.
If you'd like to replicate my cards, gather the following Rustique papers and other supplies:
- (4) 12x12 Plains: one each of Rust, Teal, Brown, Ivory
- 12x12 Card Print
- (4) A7 Envelopes
- Stamps or Cutaparts
- Embellishments (optional)
Finished Cards
Once the trimming, sorting and dry-fitting of the cut pieces is complete, it's time to decorate. Add sentiments to each 2x3.75" panel with stamps or cutaparts and embellish as desired.
Let's take a closer look at each card:
Stamp "happy birthday" (10.25 Autumn Glow) with Earth ink. Crop the tag (Page Cutaparts) to fit the open space above.
Trim a journaling tag to 1.5x2.25", cover the lines with the key image. Center the "rustic" label below; embellish with screw-shaped Dazzles to add visual dimension.
Crop the "everyday treasures" sentiment to 1.75x3.5", nest onto the orange panel. Add screw stickers to the four corners of the lock image.
