Create four gorgeous greeting cards featuring DIY botanical printed paper and plains from your stash. How, you ask? With the new Stacked Rectangles Formula, of course!
Botanical-themed Stacked Rectangles Cards
Gather Supplies
To get started, purchase the new Stacked Rectangles formula from our online store. 
Next, create a custom botanical print on a 12x12 White plain with floral stamps (Petals 07.22) and Blueberry Ink. (Visit my blog post to learn how to make your own botanical-themed printed papers.) This DIY print will become "Paper E" for the purposes of this project. Also gather four coordinating 12x12 plains from your stash as outlined on the instructions document.
Cutting and Assembly
To replicate my cards, utilize the following paper assignments:
- Paper A - Sparkle Blue (12.07)
- Paper B - Toile Gray (09.25)
- Paper C - Concrete Jungle Dk. Blue (06.05)
- Paper D - Galaxy Blue (12.21)
- Paper E - DIY Print
Cut the papers with a Paper Trimmer* according to the instructions
Score and fold the card bases.
Deal out the pieces to evenly distribute the panels so all four colors are represented on each card.
For added contrast, distress the edges of each botanical printed panel with Blueberry Ink.
Nest and dry fit all of the rectangles as indicated by the sketch in the formula.
Finishing the Cards
Stamp sentiments (Petals 07.22) onto the vertical rectangles with Blueberry Ink.
For the Dk. Blue panel, stamp the sentiment onto a white scrap first, then adhere it near the bottom center of the rectangle.
Gather coordinating blue ribbons from your stash. Slide a length of ribbon through the opening in a metal heart ribbon slide; adhere above the sentiment on each card.
