Stacked Rectangles Card Formula

Transform five 12x12 papers into four 5x7" cards. Tricia's accompanying video tutorial makes creating the cards fun and easy!

Gather coordinating papers as outlined on the instructions download—in this case, five coordinating 12x12 papers: four plains and one print. 

Follow the paper trimming instructions and sort the pieces. Deal out the trimmed elements to dry fit each card structure. Finally, add cutaparts or stamped sentiments to the appropriate panels and assemble each card with the help of a grid ruler and ATG adhesive.

America 250

To replicate Tricia's cards, utilize the following paper assignments:

• (4) Plains: Nantucket Dk. Blue, Lt. Blue, Red, Kraft
• Print: America 250 Text Weight Print

Trim the faux postage art elements with decorative-edged scissors*. Wrap natural jute each narrow panel above the greeting. Add stamped sentiments (Autumn Glow 10.25) with Earth ink, India Black or CS® Watermark ink heat-embossed with gold powder.

Wishes

To recreate the cards below, gather one each of Wishes Gray Print and Yellow, Dk. Gray, Lt. Gray, Ivory plain. 

Rounding the corners of select panels (with our 3 in 1 Corner Rounder) gives the cards a completely different look. Add sentiments from the Card Cutaparts and tie a bit of natural jute to the narrow panel on each card.

Sunny Fields (Set One)

These four cards feature one each of the Lt. Aqua, Dk. Brown, Yellow and Gray plains along with one Sunny Fields Large Print. 

Trim the edges of select panels and cutapart artwork with postage-edged scissors*. The sentiment is from Coming Up Roses (04.25)

Sunny Fields (Set Two)

For this set, combine Dk. Brown, Gray, Yellow and Lt. Aqua Plains with the Small Print.

In lieu of stamps, add artwork and greetings trimmed from the sentiment strip on the Sunny Fields Bonus Card Cutaparts to complete each card.

Cabana

The cards below feature the Blue Print, along with Lt. Blue, Med. Blue, Dk. Blue and Gold plains from the Cabana collection. Embellish with artwork from the Card Cutaparts and stamp the "happy birthday" sentiment (Northwoods 01.26) with India Black ink.
