Riverbend Stamps

Card 1

Riverbend Stamps #clubscrap #stamping #cards

Stamp the large fish image onto a white panel with Ocean Ink.

Add the sentiment to the top of the panel in the same color. Add score lines an 1/8" from each side of the panel.

Apply small dots of White Blizzard Nuvo Drops to mimic the splashing water in the image.

Card 2

Add a subtle raised image on the Lt. Green panel with the Lagoon Mermaid Scales stencil. Visit this blog post to learn more about this technique.

Stamp the sentiment and the small fish onto a white panel with Ocean Ink.

Fussy cut the fish with scissors and adhere over pieces of twine tied into a bow.

Mat the sentiment with Teal. Adhere the sentiment to the the embossed Lt. Green panel accented with the fish embellishment.

Card 3

Stamp the bird image onto a White Panel with Spruce Ink.

Place the panel diagonally into a scoring board. (My board came with a template for making envelopes. It comes in handy for this technique!)

Score the white paper around the image in 1/8" increments.

Add a sentiment to a Lt. Green strip with Spruce ink. Attach the strip to the scored panel with mini staples.

Card 4

Add the camper image to a white panel with Spruce Ink. Position the HAPPY stamp into the open space of the banner and the RETIREMENT stamp underneath the camper image.

Pick up both stamps by closing the lid oon a stamping platform, add Ocean ink, then close the lid to transfer the stamped words.

Add Nuvo Drops to the moon for some sparkle.

Randomly add tiny fish images to a Dk. Aqua panel with Watermark Ink.

Fussy cut the camper artwork and add to the card with foam adhesive circles.

Card 5

Add the bird image to a white panel in Ocean Ink. Stamp the tiny curved words around the perimeter of the artwork, alternating Spruce and Moss Inks.

Accent the moon with Nuvo Drops.

Tie a bit of twine into a bow and adhere over the text with Bookbinding Glue in a Needle-tipped applicator.

Card 6

Spritz the large fish stamp with water.

Add pigment from watercolor crayons in shades of blues and greens over the surface of the stamp.

Press the image firmly onto a white panel to transfer the color.

Remove the stamped panel and replace with a second white panel.

Spritz the stamp again with water to reactivate any pigment left on the stamp.

This will result in a second generation image. Set aside for Card 7.

Place the first generation panel into a spray tray. Hold a watercolor crayon in one hand and a waterbrush in the other. Flick color from the crayon over the panel with the brush to create a speckled effect.

Stamp the sentiment onto a strip of white paper. Add a piece of cord tied into a bow. Mat with Aqua and Dk. Green and add to the front of the card with foam adhesive.

Card 7

Fussy cut the second generation stamped image from Card 6. Adhere the image to an Aqua panel embossed with the Mermaid Scales stencil (see Card 1). Stamp the sentiment in Ocean Ink.

Mat with Teal and adhere to the card.

Card 8

Dust a Dk. Green panel with anti-static powder.

Stamp the bird image with Watermark Ink.

Cover the wet ink with silver embossing powder and heat set to melt.

Wrap a bit of cord around a stamped sentiment panel.

Place foam adhesive circles on the back of the sentiment.

Adhere to the panel to finish the card.
