Create seven gorgeous cards with Northwoods Stamps. Pair these nature-inspired images with the cool hues of the papers from the collection.
Northwoods Stamps

Northwoods Stamped Cards
The finished size of each card below is 4.25x5.5", unless otherwise noted.
Card 1
Add the birch tree frame to a White panel with Sandstone Ink.
Stamp the sentiment into the open space below and to the right of the tree with Spruce Ink.
Add color to the leaves with a water brush* and Distress Crayons*.
Fussy cut around the frame of the stamped image with scissors. Adhere the trimmed panel to a 3.5x4.75" Green mat.
Adhere the mat to a Brown folded card base.
Card 2
Repeatedly stamp the small birch tree image as shown above onto a Gray panel with Sapphire, Spruce, and Earth Inks.
Stamp the sentiment in the bottom right corner with Earth Ink.
Adhere the panel to a Blue mat leaving an 1/8" reveal along the top, right and bottom edges.
Wrap the wide ribbon around the end of the Blue panel...
...and secure on the back with clear tape.
Tier two lengths of jute into a knot around the ribbon.
Adhere the Blue panel to a folded Green card base. Trim the long tails of the jute to complete the card.
Card 3
Position the tree frame face down onto a 3.5x4.75" Blue panel.
Close the lid of the stamping platform to pick up the stamp; apply Sapphire Ink to the image.
Close the lid to transfer the inked image to the Blue panel.
Stamp the sentiment onto a piece of torn Rice Paper with Spruce Ink.
Center a 3.5x4.25" Green panel onto a folded Gray card base.
Adhere the sentiment in the open space of the Blue panel to complete the card.
Card 4
Mist the noise image lightly with water. Scribble Distress Crayon* onto the wet surface.
Stamp the image onto a White panel. Add the small tree with Sapphire Ink.
Stamp the sentiment beneath the artwork with Earth Ink.
Position the White panel onto a Rice Paper panel. Draw around the perimeter with a water brush as shown.
Carefully pull at the fibers of the Rice Paper along the water lines to create a nesting card panel.
Apply adhesive to the folded Blue card base (to prevent tearing the fragile handmade paper).
Position the Rice Paper panel over the adhesive.
Press gently to ensure proper adhesion.
Tear the edges of the White panel with the Grid Ruler as a guide.
Nest the stamped panel onto the Rice Paper to complete the card.
Card 5
Stamp the noise image onto a Gray panel with Sandstone Ink.
Add the trio of leaves with Spruce Ink.
Stamp the sentiment below the leaves with Sapphire Ink.
Place the panel onto a cutting mat; cut a 1/2" slit on either side of the sentiment with a craft knife.
Slide a length of blue ribbon throught the cuts, behind the sentiment, as shown.
Thread the end of the ribbon from the back to the front on the other side of the sentiment.
Wrap the ends around the back of the panel and secure with clear tape.
Nest the stamped panel onto Rice Paper and Green mats. Center the nested artwork onto the front of a folded Gray card base.
Card 6
Stamp the small birch tree image onto a 1x5.5" Gray strip with Spruce Ink in a repeating vertical pattern.
Place the strip onto a cutting mat; cut slits along the top and bottom edge of each stamped image with a craft knife.
Thread a .5x5.25" Blue paper strip through the slits in each stamped image as shown.
Add the sentiment to a 3.5x4.75" Brown panel with Sapphire Ink.
Stamp the small birch tree onto a Gray panel for the inside of the card with Spruce Ink. Add the sentiments with Sapphire Ink
Center the Brown panel onto a Green folded card base. Position the decorative birch tree strip on the left side; embellish with a collage created with a tag, ribbon, jute and an embroidered leaf.
Adhere the sentiment panel inside the card.
Card 7
Add the sentiment to a .75x2.5" White strip with Spruce Ink.
Choose an Ohuhu Alcohol Marker* that coordinates with the color palette of the collection.
Add color to the word ADVENTURE. Layer the sentiment onto Brown and Blue mats.
Tear a Rice Paper panel to approximately 3.5x4.75". Stamp the tops of the small tree image with Earth Ink into each of the four corners of the paper.
Continue to stamp the images around the perimeter to create a frame.
Fill in any remaining blank areas on the panel as desired. Adhere the stamped panel to a 3.75x5" Green mat.
Center the panels onto a 4x5.25" Blue panel; adhere to a folded Brown card base. Embellish with a tag, ribbon, jute and embroidered leaf cluster. Cut a 1x2.5" strip from a Green scrap; trim one end into swallowtail shape with scissors. Add Foam Adhesive Circles to the back of the sentiment mat.
Remove the backing from the foam circles and adhere to the front of the card, slightly overlapping the embellishments. Accent the card with three small white sequins (from your stash) with Bookbinding Glue dispensed from a Needle-tipped Applicator.
For the inside of the card, stamp a small piece of Rice Paper with a sentiment pairing and tree tops with Earth Ink.
Tear the edges of the rice paper and mat with Green. Center the sentiment pairing inside the card.
