Create more Northwoods pages when you pair the Bonus Formula with papers and stamps from the January collection.
Northwoods Bonus Formula
Gather six plain papers from the Northwoods collection as indicated in the January Bonus Formula.
To recreate my layout, utilize the following paper assignments:
- Brown (Paper A)
- Blue (Paper B)
- Green (Paper C)
- (2) Gray (Paper D)
Trimming and Assembly
Trim and sort the 12x12" papers: Brown (Paper A), Blue (Paper B), and Green (Paper C).
Once the trimming is complete, refer to the sketch to dry fit the pieces.
Position the large anchor panels with the help of a 3x14" acrylic ruler.
Add Bookbinding Glue dispensed from a Needle-tipped Applicator to the 1/2" strip.
Adhere the strip over the Green anchor panel using the grid ruler as a guide. Align the Blue squares using the zero center for perfect placement.
Test fit the photos over the mats until you're happy with the arrangement. Note the photos on the left page are temporarily sideways. This page will be rotated 90 degrees during final assembly.
Embellish with Stamps
Add the leaf trio in Sapphire Ink on the Blue anchor strip on the left page.
Gather a 8" length of blue ribbon and slip under the Blue paper. Tie the ends in a simple knot and trim any excess ribbon with fabric scissors*.
Gather the two small Brown rectangles from the right page. Add the sentiment and small birch tree images to the panels with Earth Ink.
Add two lengths of folded blue ribbon in the open space next to the sentiment with a mini stapler*.
Stamp the same tree image in Earth Ink on the left page above the photos.
Die cut a title from the scraps leftover from the trimming of the papers.
Position the letters next to the stamped tree and adhere with Bookbinding Glue dispensed from a Needle-tipped Applicator. Crop the photos and adhere them to their corresponding mats to complete the pages.
