Mid Mod Page Kit
Just like our monthly kits, it's not necessary to use all eight pages for a single event or occasion. For best results, treat each two-page spread independently when choosing your photos.
Layout 1 & 2
The first two pages were perfect for scrapping photos of the work we're doing on my daughter's 1919 Craftsman home. My husband and I are helping her and her fiancee with updates around the house, which included painting, wall paper, gutting and reinstalling a kitchen and more. We've been trying to take photos along the way, and the vintage nature of this collection made the perfect backdrop.
Crop an extra photo to 3x3-5/8" to fit the open space created by shifting the twin mini mats toward the left side of the page.
Layout 3 & 4
When looking at this collection, you may not immediately think "child's birthday party", but it turns out the color palette was a great match for many of the photos from my grandson's first birthday. It certainly doesn't hurt that my youngest son—Godfather of the birthday boy—was wearing a brown shirt that day.
Since Daniel's birthday party theme included dancing fruits and veggies, I added some of the smaller pieces of party decor to the pages with foam adhesive.
Layout 5 & 6
More photos from the birthday party. I was amazed at how well everything coordinated with the Mid Mod color palette—even the party decorations inspired by by grandson's favorite video, "Hey, Bear!"
Layout 7 & 8
Finally, the last layout features photos of my oldest grandson helping me bake (and eat!) chocolate chip cookies. Spending time with my grands will indeed someday become "the good old days"!
