Here's a quick visual tour of what you'll find in the Mid Mod collection.
Layouts 1 & 2
I had so much fun working with those rainbow-shaped woodcuts. The slit at the bottom perfectly accommodates the extra wide blue grosgrain ribbon included in the box. Trim a 6" piece, thread through the slot, staple, and cover the staple with the fussy-cut "timeless" tag. Then, thread the gold jute through the hole at the top of the woodcut and tie into a bow. Adhere to the layout with CS® Bookbinding Glue.
Layouts 3 & 4
Add the sweet little fabric flower to the left edge of the matted cutapart with Bookbinding Glue and finish with the "classic" fussy-cut tag.
Layouts 5 & 6
Before adhering the nested border strips to the left and right pages, punch a hole on each side of the text. Thread the gold double-faced satin ribbon through the hole and tape the end on the back of the strip. Run the other end of the ribbon around the outside edge of the strip. (I used two pieces of ribbon and did not run the ribbon behind the entire section of text.)
During the trimming phase of the workshop, we'll create a series of nested metallic gold and green squares. Round the corners with the smallest setting of the corner rounder punch. Re-punch a hole at the top of the tag and add a loop of ribbon. Finally, after die cutting, trimming, or punching the circular embellishments from the cutapart sheet, add the circle to the tag with foam adhesive, offset slightly to the right.
Layouts 7 & 8
Add the last three fabric flowers to the center of the three flowers on the cutapart title strip. Bookbinding glue is perfect for the job!
