Cottage Garden Page Kit
Every monthly Club Scrap Page Kit creates eight gorgeous pages, however, I rarely use all of them for a single occasion or event.
While I have tons of garden photos of my veggies and flowers, I chose to scrap memories that weren't so "on the nose" theme-wise. Funnily enough, the photos I took on Easter Sunday would have been perfect on these pages as well.
Layout 1 & 2
I changed very little of the original layout design. My grandsons were wearing their green "big bro" t-shirts that coordinated perfectly with the greens from the kit. (They'll be getting a baby sister later next month!)
Layout 3 & 4
The next two pages feature photos of my daughter and her bridesmaids during bachelorette weekend activities; which included axe-throwing with a nice dinner afterwards.
Since I had more vertical photos than horizontal, I rearranged the trio of Pink mats on the left page to better accommodate them. (I rotated one photo mat on the right page as well.)
Layout 5 & 6
After dinner, the ladies took sunset photos outside of the restaurant. The Pink paper complements the sunset hues perfectly!
I did a bit of rearranging of all of the elements on the right page in an effort to expose more of the floral print.
Layout 7 & 8
Finally, the last two pages feature photos of my daughter and her bestie. I flipped the mats on the right side to highlight the flowers on the print, rather than the cottage.
I just love the soft colors and nature-inspired artwork of the April Page Kit. After trimming and assembling the pages, it took me a just a little over an hour to select, crop and adhere the photos.
