Magnolia Layouts - Mother's Day Page Cutaparts
You'll follow the same trimming and assembly instructions - simply substitute the Mother's Day Page Cutaparts artwork for those in the monthly kit. You can even go half and half - customize the Cutaparts to create layouts that fit your photo needs.
Layout 1 & 2
Since the sentiment is on the right side of the border strip, the JOY woodcut shifts to the left side. Apply bookbinding glue with a needle-tipped applicator to adhere.
In lieu of smaller photos, crop a single horizontal photo to span the space created by two mats.
The sentiment Cutapart serves as a photo mat for an extra image.
Layout 3 & 4
Since all of my photos had a vertical orientation, I rotated the right layout 90 degrees clockwise.
Rotating the page necessitated a slight change in placement of the hummingbird Cutapart and window frame.
Layout 5 & 6
A simple swap of the Magnolia Page Cutparts with the Mother's Day version completes this two-page spread. Shift the sentiment at the bottom to align with the left edge of the mats.
This layout features photos of my friend's daughter and grandchildren, so I'll let her complete the journaling at a later time.
Fussy cut the flower image; adhere to the right of the sentiment with foam adhesive.
LAYOUT 7 & 8
Bring the floral artwork on the Magnolia print to the foreground with a craft knife and cutting mat. Tuck the photo mat into the slot.
