Once you've downloaded the written instructions, utilize the paper substitutions below as you sort and trim your papers. (Or you can always do your own thing!)
Paper A = Purple
Paper B = Aqua
Paper C = Yellow
Paper D = Pink
Paper E = Koi Print
Paper F = Floral Print
My best advice? Make sure you watch the two-part video tutorial. The project is pretty involved, but it's totally achievable with the help of Tricia's concise step-by-step guidance. Prepare to be super-impressed with yourself when the project is complete!
Decorate the front cover with a trimmed cutapart border, a cropped sentiment and lotus flower woodcut.
The project is aptly named due to a number unique interactive elements inside. A clever pocket built into the front cover features a two-part closure that reminds me of a saddle bag.
Open the hook and loop closures to access the removable folio.
Decorate the interior and exterior of the folio by adapting cutaparts and other embellishments from the Page Kit.
Add embellishments, like the dragonfly laser cuts, to a collage of cutapart borders and sentiments.
Decorate the journal's inside pages, pockets and inserts with pre-cut photo mats and modified cutaparts.
Add an extra-special touch with white flower charms above and below a feature sentiment.
This project can be a bit more challenging than most, but it's well worth the extra effort to transform your favorite CS® Page Kit into a truly interactive keepsake. Just imagine possibilities - the ability to customize each book to the personality of the recipient or to tie a specific theme to a special event/occasion.
