After completing my Industrial Evolution layouts (shared on Friday's blog post), I was inspired to make another project with this versatile collection.
In December, Tricia developed an interactive mini book for a virtual expo called the Snap Ring Album. I've been wanting to make one ever since.
Make your own Snap Ring Album using the following steps:
1. Purchase the Snap Ring Album Components and an Industrial Evolution page kit.
2. Follow the instructions included with your album components purchase.
3. Embellish and enjoy!
Here's a visual tour of my Industrial Evolution Snap Ring Album:
I just love the different interactive pages Tricia designed for this mini book. The different pocket styles and flaps offer tons of decorating potential!
Adhering cutaparts using Foam Adhesive Circles adds dimension and visual interest.
The "snap ring" makes it easy to add, remove, or rearrange the pages inside the album.
Some of the pages feature flaps that open vertically...
...and others, horizontally.
The "hand" cutapart points to a ribbon tab. Pull to open...
...to reveal additional space for photos or embellishments.
Some pages have angled pockets...
...and others feature simple "folder-style" pockets.
You'll learn how to fold your paper to make this unique, double angled pocket. (Don't worry, Tricia's instructions are clear and easy to follow.)
I had so much fun making this album, I'm itching to make more! The compact size and interactive design is perfect for gift-giving, or for documenting a special occasion or trip.
Happy crafting!
