Create more Impressed pages when you pair the Bonus Formula with papers and stamps from the November collection.
Impressed Bonus Formula
Gather six plain papers from the Impressed collection as indicated in the November Bonus Formula.
To recreate my layout, utilize the following paper assignments:
- Teal (Paper A)
- Aqua (Paper B)
- Red (Paper C)
- Brown (Paper D)
- (2) White (Paper E)
Trimming and Assembly
Trim and sort the 12x12" papers: Teal (Paper A), Aqua (Paper B), Red (Paper C), and Brown (Paper D).
Once the trimming is complete, refer to the sketch to dry fit the pieces.
Position the large anchor panels with the help of a 3x14" acrylic ruler.
Add Bookbinding Glue dispensed from a Needle-tipped Applicator to the 1/4" strips.
Adhere these strips over the Red anchor panels on each page using the grid ruler as a guide.
Test fit the photos over the mats until you're happy with the arrangement.
Hover over the two Red mats on the left page with the 8x8 grid ruler to determine how to crop the 4x6" photo.
Adhere the cropped photo to span across the two photo mats.
Crop the remaining photos and adhere them to their corresponding mats.
Embellishments
Gather the four small Brown rectangles and place in an embossing folder*.
Run the folder through an embossing machine* to add texture to the panels.
Gather Aqua grosgrain ribbon and trim slightly larger than the width of the brown embossed panels with fabric scissors*.
Wrap each ribbon with Red waxed linen thread and tie into a knot.
Secure each ribbon on the back of the embossed panels with clear tape.
Add the flower images to a piece of White paper with Earth Ink.
Color the images with Ohuhu Alcohol markers*.
Begin by adding the darkest color to the shaded areas as indicated in the stamped artwork.
Then blend with the lighter colors. Fussy cut the flowers with scissors.
Add a stamped sentiment beneath a photo with Earth Ink.
Stamp a sentiment directly onto a photo with India Ink. Adhere the flowers tucked behind the photo mats on each page.
