Last year, I compiled a list of projects that can be created using any Club Scrap Page Kit. During my research, I discovered the Triple Folio project requires just six 12x12" papers - which means you can easily create two mini books from a single Page Kit.

In addition to the supplies included in the kit, you'll need a pack of three Literature Folders. I chose to make one book with white folders and the other with kraft.

The books feature cute little "belts" made from ribbon and a set of D-ring closure hardware. I chose antique bronze to coordinate with the charms included in the Fun and Games collection.

White Version

To make each mini book, begin by gathering one of each print/color paper from the kit (a total of six sheets). Next, follow the trimming and sorting instructions. Finally, construct the book using the trimmed pieces paired with three White Literature Folders.

Once the Triple Folio structure is complete, decorate the interior and exterior using Cutaparts and other embellishments included in the Page Kit. Optional: Divide the pre-cut photo mats into two sets (six for each book). Trim the mats into 4.25" squares and add to select inside pages.

The interior of the book features a blend of 5x5" and flag-style pages. The literature folder pockets hold memorabilia or additional photos.

The sweet mini pockets made during assembly are perfect spots for tags or hidden journaling.

Top the square mats with flattened bottle caps for dimension.

Even the back of the book gets the decorative treatment with a pair of nested square die cuts.

Kraft Version

Pair the remaining six papers with three Kraft Literature Folders to make a second mini book.

Embellish the front cover with a Cutapart sentiment and three gold Glitter Gems.

Trim title and border strip Cutaparts to fit the 5" pages.

Staple the checked ribbon onto a journaling tag. A square die cut "frames" one of the pages.

You've gotta love the value of a "two for one" deal! These mini books make great gifts, too - something to keep in mind with the holidays fast-approaching.

Happy crafting!
