Want to see a quick video preview of the entire collection? Here it is!

Read on for an overview of each card structure we're making this month. They're all quite simple!

Set A - 4.25x5.5" Double Z-fold Cards

I love the elegant simplicity of this style. All four card bases and the narrow Z-folded strips are trimmed from just two sheets of two-sided 12x12 paper. When scored and folded, the duplex paper looks extra special! After some quick fussy-cutting, sandwich a castle or dragon cutapart between the narrow strip and sentiment for a nifty pop-up look. I have some helpful assembly tips for you in the workshop video!

Set B - 4.5x6.25" Cards

I like how a basic bow provides the perfect accent for the gate folded card. We found some intricately laser cut frames that reminded me of a storybook cover, and I designed the panel sizes to fit them perfectly. Making these cards is a simple matter of scoring and layering. If you happen to have a 1/4" corner punch or Corner Chomper, round the outside corners of each panel for a nice effect.

Set C - 5x7" Cards

I probably sound like a broken record when I remind you that our card instructions can be replicated with papers from your stash. But this month's card plan is supremely ideal for another round. There are only three cutting sketches to follow, and each one is repeated a few times to trim a total of ten sheets. The 5x7" cards in this series have a large panel, three color blocked panels, and a mat for a sentiment. Since the colors are interchanged, you'll create a structure with tons of potential. I chose to add an embossed texture to the non-printed card panels. Finally, each card is embellished with knotted ribbon or a bow and topped with a tiara charm.

Several of our members are impressively quick to the draw in completing their cards each month. I want to give a special shout-out to Cathie Schumaker for consistently creating a full batch and posting them to our Club Scrap Chat group on Facebook soon after her kit arrives. Join us at the group, and we'll be there to celebrate your success!
