In addition to creating the page assembly formulas for the Deluxe and Lite kits, Tricia also creates a fresh layout formula every month. This is the image from May's Creative License Layout Card:
Members receive a link to the full Layout Card, including cutting diagrams and instructions for assembly, each month in an email. It's such a valuable benefit for our members. If you're a member and not downloading these little gems, you are really missing out! For my layout, I chose a 12x12 Light Gray Plain as Paper A, 8.5x11 Dark Gray Plain for Paper B, and two Deluxe 12x12 Off White Prints for Paper C. I trimmed Papers A and B according to the instructions, and assembled the pieces using the diagram as a guide--just like a recipe. The results?
I'm so happy with how my pages turned out. They were perfect for photos of my boys and their friends go-karting. I used alphabet dies with black card stock to create the title. The number "4" is from an alpha/number set I've had for longer than I can remember. Isn't it perfect with this collection?
I used a diamond-plate embossing folder and Ash Hybrid ink to add a bit of texture to the border strip, along with red ribbon and a Road Trip copper key from my stash.
