CARD KITS - THEN VS. NOW
If you're fairly new around here, you might be wondering "What's the difference?" Both the "new" and "old" card kit formats include everything needed to create at least a dozen greeting cards. Embellishments, cutapart greetings, and envelopes are included in each package. The main difference is the way the paper is presented. The latest format features 12x12" papers (the most common paper size available). However, prior to September 2019, the card bases and many of the panels were pre-cut to size.
A NEW CARD KIT FORMAT IS BORN
After plentiful research and testing, the monthly card kits switched to the new format on October 1, 2019. The kits ship in a sturdy pizza box, supplying enough materials to create twelve unique cards, four each in three different styles, and a video tutorial. Much like our page kits, the detailed card kit instructions allow the crafter to efficiently make cards from 12×12" papers. Each collection includes 9 to 12 sheets of 12×12” paper (including two patterned papers), envelopes, two 12×12 printed cutaparts, ribbons, and an increased allotment of goodies to embellish the cards.
In addition, the downloadable instructions provide continued inspiration to make more card sets. Simply swap with papers from your stash, score, trim, and assemble. Add stamped sentiments or other cutaparts to finish the cards.
