I just love the new format Tricia is using for the newest special release card kits! Not only is it super-easy to create beautiful cards with the collection, but the card formula instructions can be used again and again with papers from your stash. I recently paired the formula from the Lodge card kit with assorted bulk and outlet papers to make a total of twelve cards.
Start by substituting colors/prints to each paper listed in the formula. After all of the trimming is completed, dry fit the pieces that make up each card structure. Finally, finish each card with coordinating artwork and sentiments using stamps or printed elements from one of our digital hybrid kits.
A2 Cards - Sunflowers
Stamp three card panels with images and sentiments from the Sunflowers Jumbo stamp sheet. Blend several shades of colored pencils to highlight the sunflower image.
White colored pencil on the rust panel transforms the sunflower into a "daisy" that really pops!
Stamp the sunflower collage onto a scrap panel. Use fine-tipped scissors to remove the flower image. Adhere to the upper right corner of the card and trim excess.
A2 Cards - Oktoberfest
Stamp three remaining A2 card panels using Oktoberfest stamps. Use post it notes to mask the stamped artwork. Blend several ink colors into the masked area using our new ink applicator brush.
A6 Cards - Sunflowers
The A6 cards feature a cool trifold design that showcases almost every paper color/print from the chosen paper selection.
I was thrilled to discover how well the Sunflowers stamps fit the panels created during the trimming process.

More masking and inking highlight three card panels stamped with Oktoberfest images.
The design of the Lodge card formula includes extra panels for inside the cards, too, providing plenty of opportunities to add even more stamped goodness!
