Create a fanciful and fun clipboard collage project! Originally introduced as a 2016 Retreat workshop, you can now pick up this awesome set of printable templates in the shop. I had so much fun diving into my vast collection of embellishments to find just the right adornments for this unique home decor piece.
Clipboard Collage
First, purchase and download the templates. Next, select the desired layout and print onto any 8.5x12" paper, per the included instructions. Note: Once printed, the collage can be rotated 180 degrees vertically for a completely new look.
Trim plain papers from the Forest Floor collection to fit inside each of the labeled spaces on the template.
Create texture and dimension to the ivory plain panels with a fern embossing folder.
Add color to the raised surfaces of the ivory paper with Earth, Spruce, Leaf, Peridot, and Moss Hybrid inks.
Distress the edges of each panels with Earth Ink.
Embellishments
Remove the toad image from the 12x12" Mushroom print with a craft knife and adhere to the project.
Mat each In Bloom Botanical Sticker with Ivory. Die-cut mushrooms, florals, and ferns in coordinating paper colors. Create a lovely green silk leaf cluster with a raffia bow, acorn charm, and brown waxed linen thread tendril.
Create tiny droplets of dew on the gold silk leaf with Clear Nuvo Drops.
Add matted sentiments and quotes made with the Forest Floor Stamps.
Let's take a look at the completed project. The templates are sized to fit any standard 9x12 clipboard. Hint: Now that it's back to school time, clipboards are easy to find and very inexpensive!
