November Bonus Formula

Layout Sketch

Cartography Bonus Formula Sketch

The November Bonus Formula creates a well-balanced two-page spread that is has space for up to 15 photos. To make the layout, gather five 12x12 papers. Follow the trimming instructions on the printable document, then assemble the pages using the sketch as your guide.

November Bonus Layout - Karen

To replicate my layout, gather the following Cartography papers: Lt. Gray (Paper A), Dk. Gray (B), and Ocean Print (C). Two Blue Plains form the base of the two-page spread (Paper D).

Cartography Bonus Formula

As you can see, I strayed very little from the original sketch this time.

I was able to add eleven photos to this spread.

On the left, crop a horizontal photo to fit the open space at the top of the page. Trim a journaling cutpart to the same height, and nest into the corner of the 2x10" strip.

On the right, crop a single vertical photo to 2.75x6" and adhere over the three stacked mats.

At the bottom of the page, crop a single photo to 1-7/8x3-7/8". Adhere across the center squares. Trim two 1-7/8" square panels from Dark Gray (Cartography Pack of Panels); nest onto the remaining 2" squares. Top one with printed cutapart artwork trimmed to a 1.75" square, and the other with a compass charm tied with white waxed cord.

Cartography Bonus Pages - Tricia

To replicate Tricia's pages, use the following paper assignments: Dk. Gray (Paper A), Card Print (Paper B), Blue (Paper C) and two Lt. Gray (Paper D).

Round the corners of select elements for a fun twist on the ordinary.

On the left side, crop a vertical photo to fit the open space to the left of the four square mats. Add journaling below.

On the right, crop a single horizontal photo into three equal squares, and adhere to the mats at the bottom of the page. Tip: Crop photos 1/8" smaller than the mats (rather than the usual 1/4") to preserve as much of the image as possible.

These formulas are designed to help you make even more pages, above and beyond the eight in your monthly page kit, while utilizing paper and supplies you already own.
