It's easy to transform your paper stash into finished cards—if you have the right tools! Club Scrap card formulas are so much more than a sketch; each one provides detailed trimming and assembly instructions to create greeting cards by the batch.

If you haven't tried our unique crafting method, now is the time! Tricia originally designed this formula for an in-person workshop at the Great Lakes Mega Meet last spring, and now the formula is available to everyone as an online class! You can watch the preview below:

Card Making By the Batch

Getting Started

Gather papers from your stash as outlined on the instructions download—in this case, six coordinating 12x12 papers; a mix of prints and plains. Follow the paper trimming instructions and sort the pieces. Deal out the trimmed elements to dry fit each card structure. Finally, add cutaparts or stamped sentiments to the appropriate panels and assemble each card with the help of a grid ruler and ATG adhesive.

Impressed Cards

To replicate my Impressed cards, gather the following papers from the collection:

After dry-fitting and assembling the cards, it's time to add sentiments and embellishments.

Stamp the greeting with Earth ink. Accent the sentiment panel with either a twist of Brown ribbon (left) or a Copper Medallion (right). The medallions are thin and lightweight—perfect for mailing.

Add the sentiment to the small white panel with Ocean ink. Mat and adhere to the center of the card; top with a Copper Medallion.

Rotate the card base to a horizontal orientation. Stamp the sentiment with Ocean ink and embellish with a Copper Medallion.

Stamp images and sentiments onto the 3.5x4.75" White panels and adhere to the interior of each card.

Tricia created additional samples with two more collections.

Round and Round Cards

Card Making by the Batch with Round and Round

To replicate the cards above, gather the following papers from the Round and Round collection:

  • Paper A, B, C: Sky Blue, Manila, Gold
  • Paper D: Card Print
  • Paper E: Dusty Blue
  • Paper F: Ivory

As you can see, rounding select corners with a 3 in 1 Corner Rounder really changes the look of the finished cards. Stamp the sentiment with Caramel CS® Hybrid ink, and wrap the panel with a twist of ribbon, attached with a mini Stapler*.

Coming Up Roses Cards

Card Making by the Batch with Coming Up Roses

To replicate the cards shown below, gather the following papers from the Coming Up Roses collection:

Stamp a sentiment onto each Ivory panel with Earth ink. Attach a snippet of ribbon with criss-crossed mini staples.
