Cabana Page Kit
Every monthly Club Scrap Page Kit creates eight gorgeous pages. It's rare that I use all of them for a single occasion or event. However, in this case, the collection was the perfect backdrop for memories from my trip to the Maldives last year.
I utilized all eight layouts from the page kit (shown below). I also created two additional Cabana layouts; one with the March bonus formula, and another with the 07.14 bonus formula. Twelve pages are now ready for the Maldives album—and I only 300 more photos left to scrap!
Layout 1 & 2
I changed very little of the original layout design, other than skipping the sunglasses artwork on both pages.
Repurpose the 4x6 cutapart as a mat topped with a photo cropped to 5.75x3.75". As luck would have it, my friend Aimee ordered a drink that looks almost exactly like the beverage featured on the cutparts AND took several photos with it. Now that's serendipity!
Layout 3 & 4
The next two pages feature photos of our favorite spot at the resort: The infinity pool that overlooked a gorgeous beach and lagoon.
I left the tile woodcuts unpainted, as the natural wood color echoed the white sand beach.
On the left page, crop a photo to tuck into the open space to the left of the square tiles.
Layout 5 & 6
These pages look like they were designed specifically for my Maldives trip, don't they?
Mat a small photo "remnant" with the plain white side of the unused sunglasses tag (LO 1 & 2), and tuck it into the open space to the left of the sentiment cutapart.
Layout 7 & 8
Finally, the last two pages feature photos from around the property, including the path to our water villa and the spa.
I just love the rich colors and gorgeous artwork of the March Page Kit. After trimming and sorting the papers, it took me a little over an hour to assemble the pages and select, crop and adhere the photos..
