The Butterflies Page kit is one of my favorite recent special releases. A remix of Club Scrap's May 2011 Papillon collection, the artwork and sentiments are so beautiful and suitable for many different occasions. Normally I preach "think outside the box" when it comes to kit themes, but this time my photo subjects were a literal match for the collection!

Last summer my dear friend Edie, Emma and I went to the Green Bay Botanical Gardens Butterfly Festival. In addition to the "normal" gorgeous garden displays, there was an interactive butterfly house on site. Spending time up close and personal with these delicate creatures was quite a treat!

The docent told us how attractive bold colors are to these beauties, but for whatever reason, Edie and her white shirt acted as a butterfly magnet!

When assembling the pages, remember to glue only the center of the laser cut butterfly where it overlaps the mat, so a photograph can be slid underneath.

In lieu of one horizontal photograph, trim two smaller vertical photos to fit the mat.

Sponge "wands" filled with nectar lured the butterflies for closer viewing.

Finally, the last two-page spread features photos of other lovely scenery from around the property.

If you haven't already purchased this collection, I highly recommend you hurry as inventory is limited. If you'd like to watch theTricia put together the Butterflies layouts, be sure to check out her Facebook LIVE presentation of the Butterflies Page kit assembly.

Happy scrapping!
