The February Page Kit features gorgeous Art Deco-inspired motifs paired with classic shades of black, ivory and gold with just a whisper of green. The Black Tie collection provides an elegant backdrop for life's memories—big and small.

Every monthly Club Scrap Page Kit creates eight coordinating pages. I rarely I use all eight for a single occasion or event, so potentially they may end up in different sections or completely different albums. However, in this case, the pages were perfect for preserving memories* from my son's wedding.

Layout 1 & 2

This two page spread features photos of the barn decorated for the dinner and reception.

I didn't change the original layout plan, but I did cover one cutapart sentiment with a cropped photo.

Layout 3 & 4

The next two pages feature Max getting ready with his father and brother (the best man).

A slight shift in the trimmed elements on the right allows the rotation of the single photo mat to a vertical orientation. On it, a photo of my grandson Patrick who had the very important job of being "ring security" for the ceremony.

Layout 5 & 6

Very little changed on this two-page spread. In fact, the "dance" cutapart helped determine which photos I chose for this layout.

Max and I wanted to do something a little different for the mother-son dance, since our relationship is based heavily on goofiness and humor.

One of Max's friends was the DJ, so we asked him to create a custom mash-up for us. We started slow dancing to the song Stand By Me, and then swapped it for Dancing Queen mid-way through.

Layout 7 & 8

Finally, the last two pages feature more photos from the reception: Max and Emma's first dance as husband and wife, as well as the father-daughter dance. Fun was had by all!

I just love the classic color palette and elegant artwork of the February Page Kit. After trimming and sorting the papers, it took me a little over an hour to assemble the pages and select, crop and adhere the photos. The Black Tie theme turned out to have the perfect "vibe" for the indoor photos from the big day.
