Now that we are already well into October, it's time to have a little fun with the Homestead Collection!

Halloween Page

Did you notice how great this kit goes with Halloween photos? It's about time I get last year's trick or treating photos into the scrapbook. We get pretty intense with our pumpkin carving.

The Embellishment Pack Cutaparts made a nice addition to my page.

For the journaling block accent, I cut out leaf shapes from the Green Plain, drew veins with a thin black marker and tucked them behind the journaling block. I'll finish the journaling today.

Embellished Wooden Tag

Have you had a chance to check out the wooden tags? The words printed on the Accordion Hinge Album Cutapart fit perfectly.

Start by trimming the printed 8.5x11 cutapart into sections as indicated by the artwork.

Next, press Earth Ink onto a wooden tag for a wood stained look.

Attach cutapart word for a perfect fit. You can also rubber stamp your favorite images and sentiments onto the tag.

I used mine to embellish a gift box.

Rubber Stamped Card

The Homestead Collection UM is certainly a fun one. I enjoyed using it on this greeting card.

Start by masking the rectangular stamped barn and windmill image, and stamp around it.

Use a CS Foam Applicator to add ink shading for depth.

Get out the water color pencils and enjoy coloring.
