October Bonus Formula

Page Sketch
So much more than just a "sketch", the October Page Formula creates a well-balanced two-page spread from six 12x12 papers.
To get started, download the formula and gather the number of papers indicated. Trim and sort the cut pieces according to the step-by-step instructions. Finally, assemble the finished layout with the sketch as your guide.
Autumn Glow Bonus Layout
This bonus layout has space for ten or more photos. To recreate the two-page spread below, gather the following Autumn Glow papers:
- Paper A = Lt. Orange
- Paper B = Dk. Orange
- Paper C = Card Print
- Paper D = Plum
- Paper E = (2) Yellow
Once the trimmed elements are adhered to the base papers, it's time to add photos and embellishments.
After looking carefully at the sketch, I knew the "cutest pumpkin" cutapart would nest perfectly onto the 4" wide Paper D strip, so I left it 12" long, rather than trimming it to 11". That small change snowballed into other changes to the layout, such as not using the two smallest double mats.
Bring the sentiment to the foreground with a craft knife and cutting mat; tuck the corner photo mat underneath. Adhere a fussy cut jack 'o lantern with foam adhesive.
Crop the "fun-size" cutapart to 2.75x4" to fit the small Lt. Orange mat, which was relocated below the two vertical photo mats.
During assembly, nest the cutapart border onto the triple layered strip at the top of the page. The "spooky" cutapart fits the small double mat perfectly.
I just love how this layout came together. The colors complement the photos beautifully!
