I used papers from the Firecracker collection including Red (A), Dk. Gray (B), White (C) and two Blue (D). The page came together easily with a few images from the Firecracker stamps, gorgeous silver ribbon, die cut page title, and a bit of journaling.

The would-be .75x3.75" scrap from Paper A is repurposed as a journaling prompt on the bottom of the second page.

I keep my graph paper composition notebook handy at all times in case I get inspired with a new layout idea. Once the concept of the left side of the layout is sketched, I calculate the papers required. Finally, I determine how the remaining pieces will be incorporated into the mix. This is the original sketch from June's page formula prior to digitizing the concept and fine-tuning the cuts.
