After assigning the papers, I trimmed each according to the instructions. I always "dry fit" the pieces according to the diagram. Doing this before adding adhesive allows me to make adjustments as needed.

The suggested arrangement covered some of the beautiful flowers along the bottom of the Pink Floral print. I used a craft knife and cutting mat to trim around some of the flowers, then tucked the photos behind the artwork.

For the right side, rather than trimming two photos down to 2.5 x 3.5, I trimmed one vertical photo to 3.5 x 5 5/8". It fit perfectly over both mats.

I didn't have small photos to use on the 2 x 2 squares at the base of the left page. Adding a botanical sticker matted with purple to each square fills the void nicely.
