I have always been fascinated with astronomy, and the Constellations kit gave me the inspiration to explore a technique that creates the look of the outer reaches of the universe. Here are two ways to create your own galaxy print.

Goosebumps Resist

Spray white paper with Goosebumps texture spray and allow to dry completely.

I concentrated the spray down the middle of the paper on the diagonal to create the galaxy.

Apply Ultramarine Blue Pan Pastels over the dried texture spray.

Continue  to add Pan Pastels and blend  over the other colors.

Create a layout with your 8.5x11" galaxy print.

Embossed Resist

Add a noise image and stamp repeatedly on white paper with embossing ink.

Sprinkle the images with clear or white embossing powder and heat set to melt.
