I've always believed handmade gifts are the best gifts. With Christmas quickly approaching, I wanted to share five of my favorite gift ideas with you.
CRAFT STICK COASTER GIFT BOX
Julie originally shared her Craft Stick Coasters as a Father's Day gift idea, but I can see the potential to customize them for any occasion.
In the photo above, the Coaster Gift Box is decorated with Creative License, but you could easily choose stamps and papers from any kit to fit the personality of the recipient.
MINI JOT JOURNAL
Personally, I'm forever looking for a way to jot down quick notes to myself. (Yes, I know I could use my phone, but I guess I'm "old school" that way.) Tricia's sweet little notebooks are the perfect size for your pocket, purse, or your car's glove box. Follow her tutorial to make these cuties for pennies.
MEMENTO HOLDER
Still one of my favorite past Retreat projects, the Memento Holder looks complicated, but is actually quite simple to assemble.
I turned my Wildflowers Memento Holder into a gardening journal, but the design makes a great interactive album, too. It's perfect for documenting a special event or vacation. It also makes a pretty and portable brag book for the grandparents.
LOVE YOUR LETTERS ARTWORK
Deck the Walls! The Love Your Letters Workshop packs make it easy to create frame-worthy art. Select one of the two variations available, trace and color the artwork with your favorite medium, mat and frame for a special gift for that certain someone.
EXPLOSION BOX WITH TEA LIGHT
Explosion boxes are pretty easy to assemble and decorate, but the results are always impressive. And Julie's cute little Poinsettia Tea Light makes the "perfect little something" inside.
I hope these ideas inspire you to grab that stash and get crafty this Christmas. Stop back here tomorrow as Julie shares five more fabulous gift ideas!
