A NOTE FROM TRICIA

We're eager to welcome sixty guests for the Club Scrap Retreat in just three short days, and the Retreat in a Box will leave the warehouse tomorrow. If you didn't have the opportunity to participate in these fun events, look for updates from your CS friends in the forum or social media. Any remaining retreat workshop kits, collections, and other treats will be available mid-month in the online store. Watch your email for the release of these items and act quickly for the best selection.

Karen and I have a few days to regroup following the Retreat, and then we hop on a plane for Sacramento to attend our first expo on the west coast in nearly a decade. We are excited to see the classrooms filling up and looking forward to seeing you at the booth on October 21-22. Pre-registration ends on October 19.

WHAT'S AHEAD?

Your next kit is going to be a ticket to Paradise! Get ready for a bright and cheerful color palette featuring a unique specialty paper we've never used before. Be sure you're a subscriber to our blog so you don't miss Kay's spoiler at the end of the month.

KIT AND COLOR DETAILS

We used the entire Berylium font family and the decorative Elzevier font to create the text artwork for this collection.

Kay has been stamping up a storm with the unmounted stamp images from the Literature kit. (More details on that to come soon!) She recommends the following Club Scrap inks: Earth, Ruby, India Black and Metallic Gold.

DELUXE LAYOUTS

The splash of red on the fourteen layouts below comes from a gorgeous 80# cover weight textured paper made in the Midwest. You're going to love it!

I didn't want to waste an iota of that beautiful red paper, so I took the only 1x1.5" scrap and folded it in half to make a miniature book!

Deluxe members, you're also receiving a complete bonus handmade book project. Watch the blog this week for a handy how-video, especially if you're a book making novice.

GREETINGS TO GO

1016g2ggrp

The Greetings to Go kit includes actual library card pockets which are used to house cleverly designed inserts. This is one of my favorites . . .

The last time we did a "book-ish" collection, it sold out quickly. We hope you find Literature to be another very entertaining read!
