This month I thought it would be fun to encourage you to pull out your stamps and put them to good use. As I was sorting through some of my vintage greeting cards, I noticed that back in the 40's and 50's, many cards had a fancy border along the open edge. I knew I could recreate something similar in just a few short steps--three to be exact!
Color Me Happy stamps.
The result? A card with a fancy stamped border that you can finish as desired.
The following examples are just a few ways you might choose to decorate the card.
Cherry Blossoms stamps

Color Me Happy images, Succulents sentiment stamp.
A contrasting panel added to the inside of the card can help the fancy edge stand out.

I had a lot of fun playing with this technique. Now it's your turn to give it a try. Be sure to share your creations via the Linky Party below for your chance to win a Club Scrap gift certificate!
