Rosettes are fun to make and become a fantastic embellishment when featured on a card. Take these embellishments to the next level by adding decorative tapes.
1. Die cut a strip of White Plain paper with the Mini Rosette Die from Sizzix.
2. Attach 50s Kitchen Sunny Polka Dot Washi Tape to the largest rosette strip.
3. Accordion fold the strip along the perforated lines.
4. Connect the ends with Bookbinding Glue to form a circle.
5. Mark the center of the small medallion die cut with a black dot, add a drop of glue and form the rosette. Carefully align the dot with the center hole in the rosette.
6. Allow the glue to dry completely. Weigh down the rosette, if necessary.
7. Attach Constellations Lite Silver Sparkle Tape to the smallest strip leaving the first perforated area free of tape to ensure proper adhesion.
8. Finish the rosette by following steps 3-6 above. 9. Add punched flower embellishments to the centers of the rosettes and finish with Constellations Silver Dazzle Stickers.
10. Trim a sheet of 50s Kitchen Black Plain to 4x5.25". Stamp the UM Art Nouveau image onto the panel with White Pigment Ink to create a pattern.
11. Cover the edges of a 2x5.25" White paper strip with Sunny Polka Dot Washi Tape and layer onto the Black card panel.
12. Run a 1x5.25" Red strip through a checkered embossing folder. Nest onto a 1.25x5.25" Aqua strip and center onto the White strip.
13. Stamp a sentiment (Irresistible UM), matte, and layer onto the card with the handmade rosettes.
