October Bonus Page Sketch

October 2024 Bonus Page Formula

The October Bonus Formula creates a well-balanced two-page spread to preserve eight or more photos. Using our formulas is similar to following a recipe to make your favorite dish: Gather the ingredients (six 12x12 papers), prepare the papers by trimming according to the step-by-step instructions, and assemble the finished layout as directed by the sketch.

October Bonus Layout - Karen

To replicate my layout, gather the following Yellowstone papers: Green (Paper A), Teal (B), Rust (C) and Brown (D). Two more Brown plains form the base of the two-page spread (Paper E).

Once the recipe is ready, it's time to add the "garnish" - photos and journaling!

Yellowstone Bonus Formula Layout

As soon as I saw the October sketch, I knew the narrow strip on the left page would make a great place for a page title. Rotating the entire layout 90 degrees to the left gave me space to add die cut letters (cut from the Pack of Panels). The Teal square becomes a journaling prompt.

I also rotated the right page due to the orientation of the remaining photos. The narrow Teal strip features die cut letters as well.

Yellowstone Bonus Pages - Tricia

To recreate Tricia's pages, use the following paper assignments: Aerial Print (Paper A), Brown (B), Rust (C), Teal (D) and two Green (Paper E).

Don't be afraid to really load the layout with photos. You can see, Tricia utilized every available matted area to display her photographs.

The October bonus formula requires just six sheets of paper and comes together in minutes!

This is no "one hit wonder"; the recipe can be used again and again to make more pages while utilizing paper and supplies you already have on hand.
