Create more pages when you pair the October Bonus Formula with papers, embellishments, and stamps from the Abundance collection.
After putting the finishing touches on my Drop Spine Box and Mini Book project, I still had page kit elements and photos left over. I gathered plain papers from the collection and got busy building the layout.
Abundance Pages
Gather six plain papers from the Abundance collection as indicated in the October Bonus Formula.
Trim and sort four 12x12" papers using the following paper assignments: Ivory (Paper A), Orange (Paper B), Dk. Brown (Paper C), and Blue (Paper D). Two Lt. Brown (Paper E) serve as the left and right bases of the layout. Refer to the sketch to dry fit all the trimmed pieces.
Assembly Tips
Align the largest paper panels (and other trimmed elements) with the help of our clear grid ruler.
Continue to adhere panels to the background as shown on the sketch.
Embellishments
Remove the sentiment from the large cutapart with a circle die; set aside for use in a future project. Trim the cutapart "frame" to nest inside the Orange photo mat.
Punch tiny daisies from an Orange scrap. Adhere to the center of the Gold Flowers with Bookbinding Glue in a Needle-tipped Applicator.
Stamp flower (Sapphire), stem (Earth), and leaf (Earth) images onto an Ivory die cut circle. Add the tiny sentiment to a 1" circle with Tangerine Ink; adhere with a Foam Adhesive Circle. Tuck one end of the Brown panel into the circle opening. Center the stamped Ivory circle within the die cut frame on the cutapart. Adhere all of the elements to the panel with Bookbinding Glue.
Cut the journalling border strip at 8".
Carefully trim it to 1.75" wide and mat with the Dk. Brown anchor strip on the left page.
Reserve the sentiment portion of the strip for use in a future project. Trim the small leaf section of the cutapart to 1.75" square; nest onto the Orange square beneath the journaling strip.
Once all of the trimmed papers and embellishments have been adhered, it's time to add photos! Rotate the right page 90 degrees to better accommodate the vertical photos.
Before doing any cropping, test-fit your photos on each mat until you are satisfied with the arrangement.
Once you are happy with the layout, trim each photo to 1/4" smaller than each mat and adhere.
I couldn't resist adding some of the leaf stickers to the finished layout.
I really love this sketch, so I made pages with the Yellowstone collection, too! Simply rotate the assembled pageyeah, s to fit the photo orientation.
