The Wine Time stamps are packed with super-fun sentiments and very artful images. I loved that I could simply stamp and go without any "special effects" required to make cards with a great impact.
You'll immediately notice a huge change. The stamps are clear! Based on member feedback, we are making the switch to photopolymer material which requires no extra prep work for you. Simply remove the image from the acetate backing, place onto an acrylic block, and stamp! When finished, replace the image and cover with the protective sheet.
Beginning January 1, all Club Scrap stamps will be made in this way. Hang onto your Mount-It adhesive. If the removable self-stick backing loses its stickiness, add a layer of Mount-It to the stamp and allow it to dry.
Wine Time Stamped Cards
To get you started, here is some inspiration! Begin with an HPOP of Ivory paper. Stamp the Ivory panels to heart's content, trim, mat and adhere to a folded card base. Sort through your stash of ribbon, fiber and embellishments to add an extra-special touch.
If you have one, use your MISTI to create a series of these cards. The MISTI helps with accurate placement and also allows an image to be stamped repeatedly if the first impression isn't as bold or solid as you'd like. (I use a MISTI with vulcanized rubber stamps, as well.)
I love the combination of these three images on a card. At first glance, it looks like the sentiment might be quite solemn. Until you read it.
Temporarily place the black taffeta ribbon over the bottle. Mark where the edge of the ribbon meets the bottle with a pencil and remove the ribbon. Cut along the edges of the the bottle between the pencil marks with a craft knife. Slide the ribbon beneath the bottle and tie in a bow.
For a simple, one-dimensional embellishment, simply wrap the corners of the matted panel with wide satin ribbon.
Stamp and mat the sentiment, and adhere to a trimmed Forest Floor corrugated tag topped with satin ribbon.
All of the corkscrews are on a single image on the sheet. Carefully separate them with sharp scissors, if desired.
Some would easily consider this dinner.
