The Tropicale collection is so vibrant and colorful! Just the simple act of trimming and assembling the Page Kit put me in a great mood. Let's take a tour of the finished layouts, before and after photos and journaling.

Tropicale Page Kit

I just love how these pages came together. Every goodie fits the theme so perfectly. Every little detail is so special. I barely made any changes when completing the pages with photos and journaling.

Layout 1 & 2

Tricia applied CS® Moss Hybrid ink (I used Leaf) using an applicator brush on the leaf masking stencil to add a bit of visual texture to the left side of the page. And don't get me started on those stunning silk leaves

Tropicale Layout 1 & 2

Fussy cut the toucan cutapart and adhere it above the sentiment on the right page using foam adhesive circles.

Layout 3 & 4

Tricia added a three-part bow to the left page. Trim the tropical bird cutapart using detail scissors and attach with foam adhesive.

On my layout, I skipped the three-part bow and used the cutapart in the upper right corner as a mat for an additional photo.

In lieu of two smaller ones, I cropped a single vertical photo to fit across both mats on the left layout.

Layout 5 & 6

Is it just me, or do you want to wallpaper your home with the large leaf print?!? This two-page spread doesn't need much embellishment. A bit of ribbon is threaded through slits cut into sentiment cutaparts on both the left and right pages. A silver leaf charm adds a touch of shine.

As you can see, I made just a few minor modifications to the spread. I skipped the ribbon treatment on the right page...I just couldn't bear to cover any more of that gorgeous print!

I also rotated the photo mat on the right to accommodate a horizontal photo. (Can you believe that's me repelling down a five story drop? Me neither!)

Layout 7 & 8

This time pair CS® white pigment ink with the masking stencil. The ink applicator brush creates a soft, chalk-like finish. The deconstructed palm tree umbrellas add a touch of whimsy.

No changes needed here!

Use foam adhesive circles to attach the fussy cut leaf and banner-shaped cutapart sentiment for dimension.

I can't believe how easy it was to pair photos with this collection. These pages are perfect for all kinds of summertime activities, or photos from a costume or luau-themed party. Who doesn't have pictures of uncle Fred wearing a loud Hawaiian shirt?

We can't wait to see your finished pages, too! Be sure to share your work on the Club Scrap Chat Facebook group. Go there to inspire, or to be inspired by others!
