Before and After Photos
Let's take a closer look at each completed two-page spread.
Layout 1 & 2
Fussy cut the photo of the travel mug and add it to the left page, overlapping the matted photo. Keep this trick in mind when you're taking photos--think of "cheers" moments and toasts! Tuck an extra cropped photo into the lower right corner of the spread. Unsure of the size? An 8x8 grid ruler makes the process of choosing and cropping photos fast and easy!
Layout 3 & 4
The open space below the twin double mats on the left page leaves enough space to add another extra photo, if desired.
Layout 5 & 6
Another straight forward path to completion. But if you had extra photos, don't forget that you can add them to the larger cutaparts, as well!
Layout 7 & 8
Note to self: Finish the journaling on my pages! The inclusion of those journaling prompts is your reminder to make sure your memories are included. The next generation will have no clue, and neither will I, in just a few short years! Hahah!
