Can you believe it's the end of December already? And nearly the end of 2016? Time flies when you're having crafty fun!
I just love the beauty and elegance of the Shades of Winter collection. I'm always looking for different ways to store and gift greeting cards, so I made a hard-cover folio with two pockets that holds ten A2 cards and envelopes.
The basis for the folio is two card boxes made from the CS Sand Print using an Envelope Punch Board or a Scor-Pal. (There are many tutorials out there.)
Each box measures 4.5 x 6" to accommodate A2 envelopes, and are 1/2 inch deep.
Two pieces of mat board cut 1 inch larger than the card boxes make up the front and back covers of the folio. (In this case, 5x6.5".)
Wrap the front and back covers with CS White Boughs Print, connected by a 4" wide spine. Adhere the card boxes to the front and back inside covers.
Embellish the cover with a Lite Snowflake Charm.
Perfect for gifting! Don't forget to share your own Shades of Winter creations. We love to see your work!
